Creating Windows VPS on Citrix from Templates

Templates have a blue icon beside them, at the end of the server.

Right Click on any template you want deployed.

Click New VM Wizard.

Go through the steps, give name to the VM.

Assign the values for CPU cores, RAM and Storage Space as mentioned on http:4goodhosting.com/windows-VPS-hosting.html

Finish the wizard.

Once the VM starts, login with the password redhat@1983 (for all templates)

Goto strat run (windows key + R)

type sysprep

A window will open, double click on the sysprep file

On the System Preparation Tool Window, Select “Enter System Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) and check Generalize. (Compulsory step)

Select Reboot from Shutdown Options.

Click Ok.

The VM will reboot and will come to a fresh start.

Login to the VM

Assign the IP Address and Gateway from the IP Sheet.

Install Firefox/Chrome on the VM.

Activate Windows by entering the following keys: (Windows 2008 standard: D4XCY-RHV2C-T8BV9-Q8V8H-8J6YF) (Windows 2012 standard: MNKTC-RYQPG-8×894-72C96-QYFG3)

Reset the password to the clients billing one.

Put all information in clients product portion and send out the welcome email.
