Nagios Monitoring

We have a nagios server installed on 4gh11xen.4goodhosting.com

Hostname: nagios.4goodhosting.com
IP: 162.244.239.161

The server configuration files are located in: /usr/local/nagios/etc/servers/
The commands are defined in: /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/commands.cfg
The emails to which alerts should be going are set in: /usr/local/nagios/etc/contacts.cfg
For linux servers, we use nrpe client to configure services and the settings can be found in /etc/nagios/nrpe.cfg . You can also fine tune the sensor values in this file.
For Windows server, we can use nsclient service instead of nrpe.
