R1Soft Upgrade Procedure
If there is a need to upgrade R1Soft backup manager, make sure that you follow the below checks before doing the upgrade:
- Put the backup manager in maintenance mode. Login to backup manager > Advanced Options > Manager Options.
- Check to see if there are any backups that are running. Not disk verification, but the actual backups.
- If there are, wait for it to finish.
- If there is an urgent requirement and you can't wait for it to finish, then open file /usr/sbin/r1soft/conf/server.properties and set:
close-all-disk-safes-on-start-up=true - Then, perform the upgrade by following the below procedure:

close-all-disk-safes-on-start-up=false - As well, you will need to manually open all the disk safes by logging into backup manager.
